         View from the Boat

        Guanyin Sitting on a Lotus, one of the very few titled formations that I thought actually looked somewhat like its title.

        Snack Vendors, there was some great food along what I affectionately called "the gauntlets".  These were places where we had to get out of the boat and walk along a trail for a bit.  Of course these trails were lined with souvenir vendors who were convince I had come to the Lesser Three Gorges to buy a bronze-coated bust of Mao.
